Making Your Dress Completely Modest

If it has a high slit:
We're definitely crushing on this dress, but that slit makes us uncomfortable.
What to do:
Add fabric that goes as far down as you desire, either to your knee or to your ankles.
- black fabric (or the color of the dress)
- nude fabric
- covered lace
If it is too sheer:
You would totally look like Cinderella in this gorgeous dress, but there's a little too much skin showing.
What to do:
Add fabric that covers everything you don't want seen. Make sure to match the fabric as well as you can to your dress's fabric.
- blue fabric (or the color of the dress)
- nude fabric
- white fabric
If the front is too low:
This is a regal & classy dress, but that v-neck might be lower than you'd like.
What to do:
Add fabric a "v" or a square of fabric to get more covered.

If the sleeves aren't long enough:

What to do:
Add fabric that matches the dress exactly or
- add tulle to stick out and extend the length of the sleeve
- add a draping effect

If the skirt is sheer:

What to do:
Most of the time, you'll want to add an extra layer or two of tulle or lace underneath.
If the sleeves are too sheer:
This dress is everything, but you may not like your shoulders showing.
What to do:
Add sleeves that match the slip exactly underneath or just attach fabric under the sleeves to make you covered.
